Having a strong appreciation for music with local flair, and themes true to the artist and where they come from, he aims to elevate his clients’ work with exceptional production values. With an ear for detail, and an inherent understanding for the principles of balance and dimensions of sound, Diga brings audio recordings to the next level. This skill set extends to his work composing all original scores for independent films. 

Naka Productions additionally offers off site sound recording. This may include remote album production, recordings of community hall meetings, individual stories of elders, editing of pre-recorded meetings, and more. As always, we are particularly interested in providing these services in the interest of preserving languages.

Grant Writing

We offer professional grant writing aimed at assisting artists in secureing funding for their projects in any art form. Our goal is to ensure artists have financial backing to see the success of their project. With an extensive knowledge of both NWT and Federal arts grants, we can help artists select the grants that will work best for their needs and artistic and cultural backgrounds.

In his years as a local musician, Diga has built up a network of amazing artists that can be contracted to take part in your album. If you are in need of a bass player, drummer, violin player, guitar player, or virtually any other instrument, Diga will be able to draw on an amazing array of professionals to provide the musical accompaniment that you need on your album. 

Graphic Design

Essential to any successful album are professional album jackets, CD design and promotional material. We have an established base of professional graphic designers who have experience creating CDs and working with design frameworks that are specific to album production. 

Promotion

Having a publicist on call is a perfect way to plan an effective promotional campaign for your work. We can help strategize an effective release of your album including providing social media support and media contacts in order to reenforce your own efforts in album promotion.
